Why are we removing nofollow attributes? Mainly because we want to encourage more visitors to post comments on our blogs which will then lead to higher traffic. Now, there is a new FREE tool called DoFollow Searcher Tool which allows users to search dofollow blogs via relevant keyword terms. Eg. If i need to find dofollow blogs on internet marketing, i will simply type the term and the results will be 90% dofollow blogs.

Gaining comments via DoFollow is not "main" reason why I have removed the nofollow. If some one take time to write a thoughtful comment they indeed become the "source" of what is written on you blog. If you links are clean to your sources in the post why would you bastardize your links in the comments?

I have been preaching no follow because I believe we should be supporting one another rather than killing the net.

I started a feed with IFollow blogs. I found that not all the blogs that display the "IFollow" button or are part of this community have actually removed the "nofollow" tag - it's visible in the source code.

If you have truly removed it, let me know so I can add your blog and display the feed so that others know about it: WeFollow.ConsumedConsumer.org

I like the do follow concept. Why should my commenters (or me as a commenter) be penalized, and not get some link love? If it means I have to moderate my comments a little closer, that's a small price to pay.
