In fact, Pinterest sent more traffic to e-commerce websites in 2013's first quarter than it did in the final holiday shopping quarter of 2012, according to Monetate's quarterly e-commerce report. Pinterest drove twice as much e-commerce traffic as Twitter, and had the highest average order value among social media referrers, at $80.54.
