The iPad 2 will be presented today but there are rumors around a new version of the iPad, the third generation, for the end of 2011.
Makes me wonder if i should wait...
Until i make a decision, here is a list of all the rumors or information i can gather about the iPad 3...
Will Amazon get into the race on time for the iPad 3?
Amazon could sell 3 million to 5 million tablets in the first quarter alone, Forrester predicts.

What is that magic price of Amazon’s tablet? Forrester says that if Amazon releases a 9-inch LCD touchscreen tablet for $299 and has enough supply to meet demand, it could outperform Apple’s first quarter with the iPad, which moved 3.27 million units.
Amazon should be able to price it that low because, like with the Kindle ereader, the company stands to profit from selling services and goods on the device, so it can afford to sell hardware at a loss, Forrester says. The lion’s share of Apple’s revenue, on the other hand, comes from sales of the iPad itself.
That's right. Amazon is a money making machine, they will be to sell these tablets almost at cost, cause at the end, they will lead the marketplace for Android games and generate additional revenue from new customers acquired via the purchase of a tablet. They win all the way.
Now, will the tablet be so much better than an iPad 3? That remains to be answered.
I cannot wait to get an iPad, it now officially does everything i have been waiting for the past few yrs... and hopefully more.

Well, that's not what i am looking at in the Google Trends when comparing iPad 2 vs iPad 3
Wow, now that makes me think. I always wanted a tablet, i have been waiting 4 yrs for it. I still do not have one, i did not go for the first generation of the iPad, waiting for at least the 2 webcams for Skype... now the iPad 3 could be coming this September and I know i will want it if it is the case. Can i be patient? I might if i can figure out is this is true.
Reports suggest that Wednesday's iPad announcement will reveal mainly minor upgrades and that the upcoming iPad 3 will have all the new bells and whistles.

"For the iPad 2 don't get your hopes up too high. That's all I'm going to say. They've had a number of problems along the way, and the third-generation iPad is the one to make a song and a dance about."

A few days ago, we heard from a very good source that Apple was assembling the pieces for a “big fall surprise”.
So the rumor is on that an Ipad 3 could be on the way for September, 6 mths behind the possible release of the iPad 2...
