BlogCatalog just started a group feature, so I started a group there. So far I'm the only member. The implementation is rather different. At the moment each group has members, but there are not blogs added to the group. People just find those through your profile page. Personally, I like being able to click on tumblelogs in the list here, which we won't be able to do there. But it is a busy blog site, so another place to find new readers.
