Photo Contest 2007 - “Photos On A Theme”

(I hope it is OK to make this post in this group)... Prize:50GBP (Approx 100 US Dollars) Closing date:31st October 2007 Please read on if you have at least 6 really good photos on a specific theme.. Some examples of what I mean by themes are:- “Scotland”, “London”, “Fishing”, “Snow”, “Christmas”, “Glaciers”, “Forests”, “Rivers”, “Boats” etc. (Or anything else that you think would look good as a Desktop Background / PC Wallpaper). RULES * THE PHOTOS MUST BE YOURS! * NO recognisable faces of people. * NO copyright stuff (Disney, Sydney Opera House etc) * 1024x768 pixels in size (please crop if your camera does not take photos in 4:3 aspect ratio) (If your submissions are not 1024x768 pixels, 4:3 aspect ratio then they will have to be REALLY good for me to consider them) * JPEG (reasonable quality – preferably between 200KB and 300KB file size) * You must have at least 6 related photos on a theme. * Email all photos on a specific theme as one email to jmcwd.com@gmail.com with the “theme” in the “subject” line. FURTHER DETAILS You must agree to allow your photos to be used in the above resolution on my web site www.irishviews.com (www.ni-photos.jmcwd.com) Any page where your photos are used will include a link back to your own web site or blog, along with contact details for yourself if required.(My web site gets approximately 70,000 visitors per month - so you will get plenty of exposure). Any profits made by me from the page(s) on which your photos are displayed will be shared with you 50/50. All photos remain 100% copyright to the original photographer. The prize money is payable through Google Checkout, or Paypal, or (if you live in the UK) direct transfer to your bank account.
