Looks like some kinda alien life form.... my tank plans took a bit of downer when my wife vetoed the whole idea on the grounds of having no where to put it... I was all down with knocking a hole in one of the walls and putting the tank in the wall.... that got me a rather killing glare!!!
See if you can put a hole in the wall in the back of a closet. This works out great for tank and fish maintenance,too.
