I browsed through the blogs list and found a bunch of sites with nofollow tags in them. We need a way to detect these and exclude them from the list.... read more

I agree with the op here - there are a lot of sites in this list who once followed and have now gone back to nofollow.

I agree, feels like a lot of waisted time. Its a bit disheartening when all your hard work was for nothing. =(
Hi Guys,
Is there any way or "sign" to know if a blog is a "nofollow" blog? Sorry, I am a newbie here so I still don't really understand about this. Thanks.
I *just* redesigned my site and migrated it to a different platform and I'm ironing out some bugs (including, apparently, the nofollow issue). I expect to have that issue fixed within the next day. (Read: I still want to be part of this group!!)
Thanks!
Doesn't wordpress out of the box make links No-Follow ? I remember reading something like that a while back - the main idea was to combat comment spam.

Homemadesoap, yes wordpress out of the box has nofollow on comment links as default. The introduction of nofollow was to prevent blog comment spam.
When you request to be de-listed from the No-NoFollow community, for some reason it may take up to a month or two before your name got removed from the list. That was what happened to me when I sent a remove request.
My blog is do-follow and I welcome comments! I comment on do-follow blogs every day, but rarely on no-follow blogs. I do check them as some lists need to be updated and are full of non do-follow blogs.
