Our vision is to create a national leadership network that is completely interactive and user-friendly, based on the web. Through this space, we hope to further leadership awareness and development in the United States by bringing together all leadership conferences, departments, schools, and entities onto one website where individuals around the world may see the different leadership resources and opportunities that are out there.
By establishing a forum for ideas and discussion, we can further the dialogue and debate at conferences and summits beyond the end date of the conference--if you've ever been to a conference, you know that you could talk and debate forever about certain topics, but that time is the limiting factor on debate. Now, when a conference is over, you can come to the ALO website and keep the debate alive, with a wealth of resources and information in your computer. We hope that this will enhance conferences across the nation.
On a deeper level, however, we wanted to ensure the establishment of good, solid leadership in the United States for our generation and beyond.
