Whenever I read a news report that someone was charged with resisting arrest I feel very uneasy. The public should be wary of the use of this charge, it can be, and probably is, abused. Naturally, most persons if suddenly accosted aggressively by one or more strangers will resist, this is only natural, especially if they are not in uniform.
